Pierre Toussaint (http://pierretoussaint.be), a Belgian photographer, specializes in black and white film. He invites us into a discussion questioning the strength, the specifics and the materiality of silver gelatin film facing the digital era.

Biography
Pierre Toussaint was born in Bruxelles, 1982. In 2004, he started his study of photography at the college of art of image "The 75", Bruxelles. Having graduated in 2007, he enrolled in the National School of Photography, Arles. He had his master in 2011. Then, he was selected for a postgraduate degree at the University of Senac, Sao Paulo. Finally, in 2013, he completed his master program in photography at the ERG (Graphic Research School) in association with the ULB (Université Libre de Bruxelles). 
Pierre Toussaint lives and works in Bruxelles.
