Public speaking is terrifying! Honestly, according to statistics, it’s the thing that people fear the most, even more than death! Does that sound like you?

This workshop will focus on overcoming fear and teaching you the skills to find confidence and belief in your own voice.

It will combine technical and holistic techniques to not only learn how to write and perform a speech more effectively, but also give you a chance to work on your own self belief in a safe and encouraging environment.

If you have ever wanted to work on these skills, find more confidence in your speaking ability or even just practice in a space without the fear of being judged or laughed at, please come along and have some fun with public speaking and leave with some new friends.

Who is the teacher?

Catriona is a public speaking and english teacher from Scotland with experience in debating, speaking and even stand up comedy. She focuses a little on the technical skills of public speaking and a lot on making public speaking fun and empowering to women.

She really believes that when women are given more opportunities to express themselves, we give them more power. Words have a lot of strength but we need to have the confidence and skills to use them.

She will make sure participants not only have fun but leave the workshop learning more about theirselves and how to effectively communicate their ideas.
