At HBSO, there is also a surprised visit on Christmas day not only bringing toys and presents, but also excitement, joy, and happiness. All will be shown in the classic ballet Nutcracker, presented by the devoted HBSO artists.
In her dream, Clara saw Nutcracker – the present she got from a Christmas party – turning to a Prince, fighting the invading army led by Rat King. After winning the fight, Nutcracker takes Clara to visit his kingdom, a magical land with the warm welcome from Snow Queen, Sugarplum Fairy and the fairies.
The audience is promised to be immersed in the fairy and magical atmosphere. Nutcracker is such a sweet legacy that Tchaikovsky left for us. This year, ballet The Nutcracker is performed in 3 nights. The unforgettable melodies together with the ballet moves promise to bring to the young audience a night of magic. Adults will once again get to return to their childhood memories.
Especially, this time, the audience will not only enjoy the live performance in full production but also will have a chance to take wonderful group photos in front of the beautiful theme backdrop at the lobby of the Opera House.
