Join our weekly walks in Ho Chi Minh City to discover hidden corners you never knew existed and learn the stories you never heard about the city’s iconic places!
We start at an old wet market in the heart of the city and make our way to the riverside to hear tales of the French who established the neo-classical style buildings here in the early 1900’s. Admire the grand old architecture and learn about the early stock exchange and banks which gave this area the name “Wall Street of Saigon.”
Continue walking south along the river, passing more iconic landmarks. We explore a residential area where generations of Chinese families have made their homes. This is an interesting local community that is often overlooked and not as well-known as the busy and bustling Chinatown located in District 5. Pass by mansions that once belonged to wealthy Saigonese merchant families. See how one of the homes has been converted into an art museum and learn the stories of the people who once lived here.
