The play is adapted from the novel of the same name by the writer Nguyen Nhat Anh.

"Làm bạn với bầu trời" (Make friends with the sky) tells the story of a "little prince." Written by Nguyen Nhat Anh, the original book had a first printing of 150,000 copies and won the 2020  Dế Mèn award.

Since the age of eight, Teo's childhood was filled with pain and suffering. On the way to a death anniversary, Teo was thrown into a stream and his legs were paralyzed. After that, Teo could only make friends with books, with the sky, and with the love of things...
