Virtual Exhibition: Urban Layers

Exhibition "Urban Layers" by Wallovers group; tells the story of Saigon in an artistic language by young, Vietnamese artists.

This virtual exbihition is supported by the Goethe-Institut and implemented by Wabi-Sabi Creative in collaboration with Artcific.

One of the characteristic elements of street art as well as graffiti is the "incompleteness" due to the rapid appearance and disappearance of this type. With the desire to preserve and give new life to the works, the Urban Layers exhibition will be moved from the physical exhibition to the virtual space, in order to keep after the physical presence is lost.

‘Urban Layers’ presents Wallovers first group exhibition, which shares the story of Saigon in artistic language told by the Vietnamese youth. Leaving the big picture, Wallovers wanted to channel their unique perspectives with the city that nurtured them. The artists focuses on their voices and aim to focus more on their own narratives through personal introspection. Wallovers consists of three main artists: zkhoa (Trang Nhon Khoa), Cresk (Nguyen Tan Luc) and Daes (Luu Doan Duy Linh), with the addition to the founding members of Wallovers, Deska (Pham Thanh Nguyen) will showcase a number of artworks as a featured artist.
