The exhibition is free entry. Register via this link. Free drinks and snacks will be provided.
The event will be organized in the form of a pop-up exhibition and open conversation. We encourage participants to voice their lived experiences of living through the extraordinary pandemic season in Ho Chi Minh City, dealing with uncertainty and disruption in their lives, coping with the 2021 lockdown, as well as entering the “new normal” and anything else important to them. The exhibition features participants’ Covid-objects used during the Covid-19 lockdowns (2020-2022) incorporated with the Archiving Covid-19 Heritage in Ho Chi Minh City’s own archive. In this event, we aim to:
- Construct a safe, welcoming space to reflect on experiences of Covid-19 through material objects
- Encourage Vietnamese individuals to give voice to their own Covid-19 experiences which may differ from the existing national media depiction on news, television, or other forms of portrayal.
As capacity is limited, the organizers will give priority to the 20 individuals who register the earliest.
