Introducing the "Slow Living" Exhibition by Artist Nguyen Minh Thanh (b. 1971)

Artist Nguyen Minh Thanh was born in Hanoi and graduated from the Vietnam University of Fine Arts. He is one of the pioneering artists in contemporary Vietnamese art since the 1990s, known for his unique and contemplative portrait paintings.

After a six-year absence from the art scene since his last exhibition in late 2017, Nguyen Minh Thanh returns in September with a new collection of vibrant nature-themed artworks that exude vitality. These works also express his contemplation on the slow living lifestyle.

The exhibition features 5 previously unreleased nature paintings alongside the iconic portrait works that have defined his career, part of the Tran Hau Tuan collection.

Curator An Tran deeply resonates with the poetic and simple qualities in Thanh's landscape paintings, which inspire a closer connection with nature, a slower pace of life, and the appreciation of the present moment.
