Tin Vịt 6 Giờ (Six O’Clock Duck News) remixes the language of media culture through satire, memory, and spectacle. Borrowing its name from tin vịt–a Vietnamese slang term for fake news– and riffing on the broadcast slot alongside Margaret Tait’s Six O’Clock News (1984), the exhibition reimagines the news as a space where identity and fiction blur.
Featuring works by Alison Nguyen, Lê Đình Chung, Lau Wai, Jack Greeley-Ward, Phạm Nguyễn Anh Tú, and Thuy T Nguyen, each works tunes into its own frequency to question the line between what is aired and what is real.
