‘ê a’
A Solo Exhibition Launching the New Collection by Artist Kama.
Exhibition Information
From the broken fragments, there are always seeds that sprout.
Some seeds bloom and quietly fade away, while others grow into tall trees, casting shade and blooming flowers that bear fruit in our souls.
Before taking shape, the sprouting leaves are like the sound of "ê a" – the first awkward babbling, a clumsy greeting to life.
This collection is a letter to the child within me and to all those who are rediscovering their own "ê a."
About the Artist
Kama Kama (Trang Khoa, 1995) is a visual artist living and working in Ho Chi Minh City. Beginning with graffiti and street art, Kama’s practice gradually expanded into a personal language centered around the relationship between "personas" and the continuous flow of life.
Kama’s works are shaped by experiences in local environments, online culture, and everyday social changes. These elements, filtered through memory, form a unique visual language.
In his creative journey, he uses the "persona" – often taking the form of a child – to explore the relationships between the external world and inner self, between the social self and the private self.
Kama’s artistic style blends Eastern spirit, pop culture elements, and the expression of street art.
