Máy Làm Đau is a new multimedia performance work by Hà Thúy Hằng, developed and presented as part of Ồ ẠT Oh Art Festival 2026. The work combines video, sound, objects, and audience participation, emerging from the artist’s reflections on the erosion of trust and the mechanisms through which people can hurt one another. Máy Làm Đau remains a work that can continue to be developed into performance and installation versions across different contexts and spaces. The sessions on 05 & 06/09 mark the first time the work is introduced to the public. Audiences may choose to attend one or both sessions.
