The Ipa-Nima shop is moving out of Dong Khoi.  After 8 years of roller coaster rents, the creep of the developers is hitting the area around 77-79 Dong Khoi.

Volvo is rumoured to be taking over the site once the refurbishment is complete: not so sure that many tourist will buy Volvo cars on impulse and good luck for the tax refund! The shop was famous for being the first to invest in shop décor and its strong pink and purple colours.  Ipa-Nima has an end of lease sale ending on Sunday evening so get your last chance to imbibe its rich environment. Ok, it is not as bad as Bason shipyards, but the array of empty shops awaiting demolition in Dong Khoi is getting depressing.
