From the organizer: **LOCAL ZINES + QUEER CULTURE JAM!!* is one of the highlight events of HZL's Freaky ZINE Week lasting from 4-7 October, hosted by Hanoi Zine Library in which Vănguard, Made in Vietnam Zine, Comicola, Gà Phê, Heritage Space, Quán Cầm - Tình Đầu participate.
This is an introduction banquet to our "Zine Musuem" atHeritage Space- one of three new homes of Hanoi Zine Library. In our museum, from 1-6.30pm, you will be joining:
– Introduction to theHeritage Space“Zine Museum”
– Panel discussion on “The Vietnamese Zine Scene” — Presentations on locally-produced punk, queer and art zines (with VĂNGUARD, MADE IN VIETNAM ZINE, PAVEMENT, ETEEN)
– “QUEER CULTURE JAM” with 3 stations:
- Explicit self-portrait workshop
- Live drawing with drag queen collective
- Zine completing/collage corner
– Info session on submitting to the upcoming Vănguard 5.
