He’s probably sitting in his room, cursing them for it, but Dong Nguyen of ‘Flappy Bird’ fame has made Business Insider’s list of “the world’s 11 most influential people working in apps.”

The US-based tech and business website’s list focused on men and women who play crucial roles in the development of apps, whether by creating a crucial feature or starting an important trend. We feel that it's safe to assume Nguyen fit the second criteria.

While the site gave Nguyen’s game a flat analysis (if one can even call it that), it’s nice to see a Vietnamese developer getting respect from a major international publication.

We’ll see if he can make this list again next year as he’s announced plans to release some new apps in the near future.
