From shafts of light in a tiny market to giant fishing nets on the outskirts of Hoi An, this is what we saw through our lens this week.

 

I have been to Hanoi many times, yet somehow I've never found the time to shoot the Long Bien bridge. My last trip I finally got around to it. Like many times before, unexpected gems surfaced as this man stopped to ask me how I was doing. He was kind enough to pause for a quick portrait, and this ended up being my favorite frame that day. The rice paddies of Vietnam are such a place of solace when it comes to shooting photos. There's always a mixture of quiet and hustle and bustle depending on what time of day you go. The near-constant oceanic winds sculpting the sands into wonderful Sahara Esque formations where people enjoy sliding down the dunes, going up & down the slopes with 4WD or simply wandering around to enjoy the peaceful scene. ~Absolutely worth visiting, especially at sunrise or sunset~
