Back Events Near Me » Bangkok Weekend part 2 - Giant Swing [Masa Niwayama & NKchan] @ The Observatory

For the second component of our BKK weekender, we have another two figures that are responsible for not only being some of the first to bring a refined electronic sound to the city, but also for forging a strong and deep music connection with our region and artists in their homeland of Japan.

Under the Giant Swing party label, Masa Niwayama and NKChan were the first to foster such a substantial movement of Japanese sound to our subcontinent, and have in that way also had a big influence on our own development over here in Saigon as a scene.

But their impact is also not simply reduced to the parties they have thrown. Their own individual sounds are a polymorphic cascade of quality, rarity and power that has seen them featured in some of the most respected clubs of Japan, including the renowned Precious Hall of their home city of Sapporo.

Individually, their sets are always impressive to behold. Together, they’re a force to be reckoned with, and that means we’re in for a treat.
