From the organizer: In this workshop, participants will read poetry, fiction, and nonfiction to learn how writers engage with ideas, and the techniques they use to express these ideas.

Students will create their own pieces using innovative prompts and receive feedback in a supportive environment. At the end of the course students will publish their writing in a class literary magazine.

Week 2: Students examine figurative language in different types of writing. Writing prompts and workshops help guide students to create their own unique work of fiction.
