Yoga & Sound Bath with Gabriella @ Mandala

Join Gabriella for a unique experience in alternative relaxation therapy and healing with Himalayan Singing Bowls.

We'll start with 15 minutes of Yoga to loosen the body and relax down onto our mats, with bolsters and blankets, for an extended Savasana while listening to the beautiful tones of the Singing Bowls along with Koshi Chimes.

What are Sound Bowls (also known as Singing Bowl, Himalayan Bowl, Tibetan Bell, Rin Gong, Bowl Gong, Prayer Bowl and Cup Gong...to name a few)?
These instruments originated in Tibet as handmade musical instruments blended from 7 different metals. They are played with mallets via striking them, or gently moving the mallets along the outer rim of the bowls.

What are Koshi Chimes?
"Hand made in [a] workshop at the foot of the Pyrenean mountains, each chime is the result of meticulous craftsmanship. Eight chords are welded with silver into the metal plate at the base of the resonance tube. The overtones of the shorter chords gradually dominate and become fundamentals, thus forming a circular tone range.
Move the chime gently holding it by its cord: the crystalline relaxing sound may leave you in quiet wonder."
–– Kabir, inventor of original Shanti Chimes

What's a Sound Bath? How does it work?
The universal law of nature states everything has its own vibration. As Einstein put it, "Everything is vibration". When the bowls are played, a sound bath begins where the bowls' vibrations and tones massage the body at the cellular level in a noninvasive manner. From a spiritual perspective, the bowls work to clear Prana (life force) blockages by each bowl's frequency working with one of the 7 major chakras to stimulate healing and stress-relief from within.
