DANCE | TRADITION | ART

We can’t trace our roots without traditional dances. This talk is hosted by the artist Maily, who will share her experience as a traditional dancer and demonstrate an excerpts of her repertoire.

KIỀU MAILY (b. 1985) was born in the Cham village of Pabblap, Phước Nhơn, Ninh Thuận Province. A graduate from College of Broadcasting - Telecommunication in HCMC, Maily is an independent writer and artist, who specializes in the cultures of Champa, especially its cuisines and traditional dances. She has been invited by Japanese NGOs for performances in September 2017. Books published by Maily: Giữa hai khoảng trống - poems (2013), Độc đáo Ẩm thực Chăm (2014), and Palei Phước Nhơn của tôi (2016).
