Jwyanza Hobson spent his formative years in the New York Metal/Hardcore scene in New York before moving to LA with his band. It was there that he dove into his love for comedy, which he’s now been performing in Saigon for a year and a half. He was a finalist in the Vietnam Comedy Competition!

7UPPERCUTS is a pop punk trio based in Saigon. Ever since they formed in 2017, the band have released an album called Summer Jam, and a single, Wave Alpha (featuring the rapper Cam), to great reaction in the local music scene. 7UPPERCUTS offers a big positive message for those who are growing up, and a nostalgic kick for those who grew up with pop punk.
On Ni, debuting her solo project, creates a dynamic vocal landscape punctuated by catchy hooks and improvisation alike. Writing some songs in Vietnamese, she incorporates her passion for the language with musical styles such as jazz, rnb, and pop. Since arriving in Vietnam two years ago, On Ni has performed all over the country with various musical acts including most recently Dao Xuan Chin Festival and Coracle Festival.
Etienne Rx Hanoi-based musician/actor plays songs he likes and will share it with you. Visiting Saigon for the week, he'll be stopping by Soma to perform as a solo act in between gigs at Vibe Nation Beach Fest with his band The La Belle et la Bête's and then with the alt rock quintet Monoheart.

The fun starts at 8 PM on Friday night, APril 12 at Soma, located at 6b Le Van Mien in Thao Dien. Entry's only 100k, which goes straight to the artists. Come out and get your weekend started with some brews, beats, and belly laughs!
