Introduction Week 2: Introduction to Lino-Printing

Learn more about the art of Lino-printing (history, techniques, applications) using linoleum sheets & carving tools, subtractive cutting method & play on negative/positive space. With detailed instructions & examples from our tutors, the participants will experience the creative process from handling the tools, image layout to ink prep; colors combination & create gradients/multi-colors plate.

Final artworks will be transferred onto postcards, prints; or try out the traditional Vietnamese “do” papers we’ve prepared especially for this workshop!
