Introduction Week : Introduction to Woodcut-printing

One of the oldest techniques of image-making in general and print-making specifically; our woodcut-printing workshop will provide its participants with knowledge revolve around the history & creative process with varied applications on postcards, card-stocks, prints & traditional Vietnamese “do” papers.

With all materials provided and detailed instructions from our tutors; the participants will learn to design their own plate from sketching composition to using chisel, gouge and other carving tools to work on their creations. Ink prep and tips on how to create gradients, colors combination will also be mentioned and practiced.

The 1 and a half hour workshop is open for adults and teenagers from 15 y.o and up.
