Microclimat #3 @ WAM Saigon

Scientifically, a microclimat is a local set of atmospheric conditions that differ from those in the surrounding areas, often with a slight difference but sometimes with a substantial one. As a music collective formed in the beautiful Saigon, //Microclimat has developed its own set of vibes and is emerging in the middle of the Saigonese urban jungle.

Only 150k entry, including a free Fuzzy Logic beer!

Hosted by Niall Mackay
Niall has lived in Saigon, Vietnam for 3 years and elsewhere around the world before. Inspired by his comedic hero, Billy Connolly, Niall started in comedy just over a year ago, performing regularly in Vietnam and recently for the first time in his homeland of Scotland. He'll make you laugh at being a Scotsman abroad, life in Vietnam and anything else in between. He started Seven Million Bikes; A Saigon Podcast in May this year, interviewing people who live in Saigon and sharing their story.

JK Hobson (USA)
JK Hobson performed his first standup set in Los Angeles in 2013. He moved to Sài Gòn in 2016. Since then, he’s opened for international standup comedians: Lars Callieou, Garrett Millerick, Corey Marx, and Mark Lucas and has guest-hosted VTV4’s Vietnam Discovery. Sometimes political, sometimes irreverent, he's performed in Thailand and Vietnam and was a finalist in the 2018 Vietnam Comedy Competition. JK was also the very first guest on the podcast “Seven Million Bikes: The Saigon Podcast” and is a co-founder of comedy collective Saigon Funny People.

Angee the Diva (USA) is an American comedian based in Saigon, Vietnam. She was a 2019 finalist in the Vietnam Comedy Competition and has been a headliner traveling around Vietnam and South East Asia since 2017. This mother of two, writer, event planner, and queen bee will leave you in stitches with her raunchy yet relatable comedic stories!

AJ Miller
AJ Miller is a straight outta Jersey girl, stoner, snow bunny from Colorado currently conducting field R&D for her inevitable Pulitzer Prize Winning auto-biography, Lighten the Fuck Up: A Very Brief Guide to the Numerous Benefits of Underachievement. She'll be sharing chapters and conducting auditions for future participatory roles.

Phương Nam
Phuong Nam is 21 years old from Vietnam and a part of the new generation of young local stand-ups in comedy. He doesn't have any award yet but his biggest award is making the audience laugh. He does that with fun facts and stories about his life and Vietnamese culture.
