Soma Saigon is hosting a charity art show/silent auction, "Saigon Oi." The show is collection of paintings as a visual love letter from the artist to this city, her home since 2019.

When you're in love, you notice every wrinkle, every freckle, every mole, every hair out of place. Similarly, the artist's love for Saigon is expressed in the rapt perceiving & rendering of the micro spaces hidden in plain view amongst famous sites and landmarks. Love goes on even though some relationships must end. As the artist prepares to depart, "Saigon Oi," is simultaneously a final farewell and a declaration of love to this city.

Julia Bui is a professional counselor and self taught artist. Her work can be found at the intersection of art and psychology. She is a rising artist with her first solo show to debut September, 2023 at the Doyle Gallery in Orange County, California. IG: juliabuiart
Silent auction begins Saturday, March 4, 10am and ends Sunday, March 5 at midnight.
All proceeds from art auction will go to Little Rose Warm Shelter, a registered government non-profit organization, dedicated to helping underprivileged young girls who are at high-risk of abuse and trafficking.

Since 1992, Little Rose has helped over 1,000 Vietnamese girls build positive futures for themselves by offering them psychological rehabilitation, opportunities to go to school, free healthcare and a supportive, loving environment to grow.
