Murmur Tooth (Leah Hinton) is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer from New Zealand, now based in Berlin. British-German DJ/producer Lars Moston tours the world as a DJ, moving dance floors from Fusion Festival to Tomorrowland. They have been exploring how their polar opposite musical backgrounds can clash and combine, 2022 saw their first releases together, starting with an official remix of Claptone’s single, “Beautiful” on Different Recordings.

Their full-length album “No Time to Explain“, released in May 2023 on Motor Music, is a genre-wandering ensemble of catchy songs full of hooks and bursting with the weird and wonderful sounds of salvaged childhood toys and repurposed household appliances. The single, “Antidote”, hit the Top 20 of the German Club Charts, & was Claptone’s “Claptune of the week”. A brand new Club Mix of “Antidote” has just been released on legendary House label, Nervous Records.

In January 2024 Murmur Tooth & Lars Moston founded electronic label Outergalactic Music, releasing their Tech House banger “This Is Wild”.
