Dogma is thrilled to invite you to “The Unofficial Archive: Printed Materials from Vietnam,” a workshop led by Matca, as part of our collaboration with “Sensing Photography: Vietnam & Vectors of Global Photography,” (February 21-22, 2025 at Fulbright University Vietnam).

The showcase and catalog “The Unofficial Archive” presents selections from Matca’s photography collection. Spanning photojournalism, fine art, and commercial photography from the 1950s to the present day, these materials demonstrate how photography and print commodities have served as tools for nation-building and personal expression in Vietnam.

In this talk, Matca's co-founder and editor Linh Phạm & Hà Đào will delve into the process behind “The Unofficial Archive,” situating it within their broader photobook-related work in publishing, collecting, and curating.
