Hồng Hạc Theatre, founded by acclaimed filmmaker Việt Linh, proudly presents its 19th stage reading: Đảo Lửa (Island of Fire), adapted from the short stories Đảo and Tro Tàn Rực Rỡ by award-winning writer Nguyễn Ngọc Tư.

This edition continues Hồng Hạc’s unique experiment with the reading theatre format, where the story is brought to life purely through voice, words, and performance. Directed by Lê Chi Na with music by Vũ Phúc An, the reading features performances by Kỳ Thảo, Đình Mạnh Phúc, Bảo Trí, and Bảo Kun.

The reading will take place at 7:30PM on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at The Joi Factory, 212/2B Nguyễn Trãi Street, Ward Nguyễn Cư Trinh, District 1, HCMC.
