Less than 20km from Saigon, Lai Thieu is a long-established settlement where many ethnic groups, religions, and belief systems coexist. Lai Thieu Travelogue is a 7-hour field trip introducing everyday local life alongside the area’s religious and spiritual sites, guided by a storyteller who lives in the community.

Lai Thieu Travelogue 27.12.2025 is a full-day version of the trip, exploring Lai Thieu pottery, the market streets, communal houses and temples, and local food. The program includes transportation departing from Ben Thanh Market.

Itinerary:
07:15 Meet at the West Gate of Ben Thanh Market and depart for Lai Thieu - Enjoy the best noodles in Lai Thieu - Try traditional cloth-filter coffee and a morning snack at Huong Ky shop (since 1921) - Visit Nha Gom Garden: learn about pottery and tour a pottery workshop - Visit Giac Tam Pagoda and Bong Lai Sanctuary - Lunch at Vuon Mang Restaurant - Lai Thieu Church - Ong Temple - Ba Temple - Binh Nham Communal House - The old kiln area - Dessert (che) at Hoa Che, farewell - Return transfer to Ben Thanh Market.

Fee: 1,250,000 VND, including breakfast, coffee, lunch (restaurant), afternoon snack, transportation, the Lai Thieu pottery learning session, and drinks.

Children’s policy:
Children under 10 years old accompanied by a parent/guardian: 50% of the adult fee.
Children from 10 to under 16 years old: 75% of the adult fee.
From 16 years old: full adult fee.
