In celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, we cordially invite you to an evening featuring the talented young artists of the HCMC Conservatory Young Orchestra (HCYO), under the direction of Hungarian conductor and music educator, Dr. DARU ANDREA, as well as the guidance and tutelage of Mer.Artist Vuong-Thach Tran and master clarinetist Quan Hoang.

The evening will open with two outstanding concertos by Antonio Vivaldi, one of the most renowned composers from the Baroque period. First, you will hear the Concerto for Four Violins and Strings, RV.550 performed by four young soloists: Linh-Xuan Nguyen, Ky-Nam Tang, Truc-Dan Tran, and Y-Linh Truong. Next, you will be treated to the "Winter" concerto from Vivaldi's renowned "The Four Seasons" suite, performed by the talented Doanh “Julian” Nguyen. All five soloists are outstanding students, the brightest gems of our Western Music Department.

To conclude the program, we bring you the 8th Symphony in F major by the brilliant German composer of the Classical period, Ludwig van Beethoven. A work brimming with positive energy and cheerful melodies, performed by a group of students with energy and youthful vigor befitting the masterpiece.
