HBSO and the French Institute in Vietnam respectfully present A Night of Debussy & Ravel, a program bringing together renowned conductor Zahia Ziouani, who conducted at the Closing Ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics, along with Lưu Hồng Quang, one of Vietnam’s outstanding young pianists on the international stage, widely recognized for his strong technique, refined emotion, and deeply expressive performance style.

The concert offers an emotional journey through masterpieces of French music, from the impressionistic spirit of Debussy to the refinement and brilliance of Ravel, while opening an engaging dialogue between French and Vietnamese music.

The audience will enjoy the following notable works:

  • Chi Lang Pass - Tran Manh Hung
  • Concerto pour piano en sol majeur (Piano Concerto in G major) - Maurice Ravel
  • Boléro - Maurice Ravel
  • La Mer (The Sea) - Claude Debussy
