A space to connect the distant past with the present, following the journey from Vietnamese to chữ Nôm.

Vietnamese is the language we use every day. Yet behind it lies a journey spanning many centuries, from chữ Hán to chữ Nôm, from scholarly culture to folk culture, eventually shaping the Vietnamese language we know today.

“From Vietnamese to Chữ Nôm” is an exhibition organized by Tri Thư, inviting visitors to step into that journey in an approachable and accessible way. Even if you have never studied chữ Hán or chữ Nôm, the exhibition is designed so that everyone can explore, experience, and appreciate the beauty of Vietnamese language and culture.

During the exhibition, visitors can explore the display space and participate in various activities such as:

• Exhibition area featuring projects on chữ Hán, chữ Nôm, and Vietnamese by Tri Thư students.
• Talk “Vân trình ký”.
• Workshop Writing the Character Tâm.
• Workshop Professional Story Editing.
• Workshop A Day of Creative Writing.
• Workshop Storytelling Through Illustration.
• Board game area and interactive activities open throughout the exhibition for visitors to experience freely.

The exhibition is suitable for children aged 6 and above and is completely free to enter. We hope that these two exhibition days will offer you a new perspective on the journey of the language we still use every day.
