“Ta nhớ gì về: Mùa hè bất tận” is a multimedia exhibition by young creative practitioners from RMIT Vietnam, produced in collaboration with CABE Studio. Emerging from the story of collective memory within the general education environment, the exhibition looks back at memories of school, childhood and summer, where personal memories gradually intersect with the shared images and experiences of a generation.

We often think of memory as something that happened and was preserved. But does memory really remain still? “What Do We Remember: Endless Summer” returns to the foundational memories of each person, especially those formed during the school years. A summer, a classroom, a schoolyard or the sound of a school bell. These images may be very different for each person, but they can also be so familiar that we no longer know what we truly remember and what we have learned to remember.

16 practitioners represent 16 journeys of reconnecting with fading memories, while raising questions about how an individual's memory connects with the memory of a generation.
