WORKSHOP: WATER IN THE CITY (Part of the Night Park Project – Exploring Urban Nightlife)

As part of the Night Park initiative led by Nomura Real Estate alongside design and consulting partners NEWSKOOL and anettai studio, this workshop—co-organized by Gieo Collective—offers a hands-on experience with water. By exploring water bodies, high tides, and nature-adaptive lifestyles from multiple perspectives, we hope to foster deeper community connections with urban water. Gieo Collective warmly invites you to join our two experiential sessions:

SESSION 1: SENSORY WATER WALK AND MINI-GAME (3:30PM – 5:00PM)

What to expect: A multi-sensory walk along the waterfront, flow mapping exercises, and a fun mini-game testing water pH with litmus paper.

Who it's for: Families, children, and anyone looking to reconnect with nature in the city.

SESSION 2: ADAPTABLE AND INNOVATIVE MODELS WITH WATER (5:30PM – 7:00PM)

What to expect: Listen to stories from Gieo Collective's "THE RIVER TELLS ITS TALES" project about the Saigon River, high tides, and flood-dependent livelihoods. Then, build your own adaptive models (boats, floating houses) using recycled or available materials and test them directly on water.

Who it's for: Students, families, and young people interested in creativity, architecture, and the environment.
