From the organizer: KNOWN STRANGERS - Solo Exhibition by Trần Nguyễn Trung Tín

This will be the Saigon born artist and illustrator’s first solo show at Saigon Outcast Human Portrait Project. Only 23 years old, Tín is currently studying his last year at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Art, majoring in silk painting. Tín creates vibrant silk paintings inspired by his eccentric collection of human portraits. Apart from silk painting, he uses a combination of line art, watercolor and digital coloring techniques to portray the world around him. Bringing a diverse style to his work. Tín is strongly influenced from line art, Japanese woodblock printing, pop art, fashion, music and artists such as Gustav Klimt, Egon Schieler, Björk, Alexander McQueen, Yayoi Kusama, Yuko Shimizu, Paula Bonet,...
