From the organizer: A global force of house, disco and all things body-moving - Fantastic Man sparks a multicolored explosion of sound on all dance floors he's put in charge of.
Melbourne-based Mic Newman aka FANTASTIC MAN is the creator of music that's full of contradictions that work in a strange sonic symbiosis: mean and beautiful, familiar and exotic, delicate and rough. Applying an absolutely massive influence of music from across the world into his productions, his releases have been highly acclaimed by the likes of Giles Peterson and legendary Chicago House producer Larry Heard, also known as Mr Fingers .
With releases on global underground powerhouses Let's Play House and Wolf Music, Fantastic Man has made a name for himself as a figure that brings a unique sound to electronic music. His DJ performances apply this crazy range of eclecticism to take his audiences on wild, unpredictable journeys through tropical rhythms, bizarre samples and thumping techno beats.
