It’s been 2 years since ECLECTIC AESTHETIC & OPTIMIST CLUB kicked off their collaboration with a series of seriously floor-shaking parties that moved Broma: Not a Bar into many mornings. 

As that has all been very fun, we’re going to keep on doing it and this night is going to put as much of it as possible on the dance table to feed as many moving legs as time and space allows. 

Our guest for the occasion is ROMI B out of Hong Kong, who with over 15 years experience in the electronic music scene, is absolutely specialized in taking things DEEP. His command of House is simply off the charts, lending him frequent appearances across the city and region, and the title of resident at HK’s only underground club - OMA. Expect a set that undulates and flows with a soulful, bass-heavy and hypnotic groove that will be hard to escape.

As usual, the EA&OC soundbrothas HIBIYA LINE / NIC FORD / DAN LO will be on hand to lend the proceedings their own takes on how to get you moving.

Hong Kong based DJ & Producer Romi has played and performed in Nightclubs & Lounges for over 15 years professionally. Starting as a bedroom DJ, by the late nineties, he got a pair of decks from a friend to practice on and began to develop his skills of mixing, and in no time, he was playing at the city best venues and also travelling around India & Asia, before he moved to Hong Kong in 2005. Influenced by various genres of music, such as Disco-Funk-Soul to Jazz and broken beat/ Downtempo to House & Techno, Breaks and UK Garage. May it be anything, he loves to dive in deep. His style has evolved into something that can be best described best as Deep.
Hypnotic Melodic Tech & House, keeping the tendency to surprise the crowd with some groovy, funky classics in the middle of his deeper sets. “Music is a journey with ups and downs, peaks and falls, just like life itself”.Playing at a variety of venues during his career has gained him the reputation of a DJ who can deliver quality in style lifting up the vibes of any venue with his hypnotic grooves. His love for Deep groovy Basslines can be heard in his sets. Romi has also played alongside renowned legends such as Mark Farina, Pete Gooding, Chris Coco, Copyright, John Morales, Joey Negro, Riva Star and many others.
Living in the hustling city of Hong Kong, Romi has not only been Resident/ Played at The city’s most renowned venues such as Yuma, Kee Club, Zuma, Homebase, Volar, Finds, Drop, Gecko, Midnight & Co., Ozone, W hotel., and many more, but also been actively involved in creating events like Exhale and his new regular night “Freesome” at Oma that features Hong Kong’s most talented DJs. Freesome is all about the love for quality house and techno to be truly Free and loose yourself to the Music..
Currently You can find him Spinning at Oma, Gecko, Drop (Fantastic Voyage), Lily & Bloom, Bassment on a regular basis and other venues from time to time. Between his busy gig schedules, Romi is also working on his ownproductions, watch out for his upcoming.
