This is a special night whichever way you look at it.

MADDERMODES: One half Saigon-based resident of The Observatory NIC FORD - the other Manchester-based ANDY HARPER - has just had a release on the highly acclaimed Millions of Moments label that has won plays and plaudits by the likes of Nick Hoppner. This night will see the two long-standing production partners spinning together for an audience for the first time, involving what is sure to be a huge swoop into the deepest, darkest and most thumping depths of the house and techno soundscapes.

Their production method sees Nic Ford and Andy Harper working in parallel on tracks from opposite sides of the planet. Having forged their musical relationship in the post-industrial, sound-heavy world of Manchester, UK, their shared vision for their productions has led to the creation of some truly spectacular tracks. Combining all sorts of emotions, dynamics and ingeniously sourced samples, their recent release on MOM “Green Corn Moon” has been making inroads into the playlists of some highly respected figures and institutions of the underground electronic sound world, and for good reason.

Their DJ set is sure to be a spectacular example of how depth and rhythm can make for a truly immersive, moving sonic experience.
