Future Shorts Vietnam Film Festival @ Saigon Outcast

FUTURE SHORTS, the world’s largest pop-up short film festival, returns to SAIGON with a new batch of challenging, entertaining and thought-provoking films from around the world!

This season’s program includes: “Two Films About Loneliness”, a stop-motion animated film directed by Christopher Eales; “Mynarski Death Plummet, a psychedelic envisioning of the final moments of WWII hero, Andrew Mynarski; and “The Missing Scarf”, a black comedy narrated by George Takei about the fear of the unknown.

Our local program also includes the film “Burn to Send (Đốt Về Trời)”, set amidst Saigon’s underground motorcycle racing scene, about a young man and woman struggling to define their ambiguous romance. We’ll also have a Q&A with the director, Andinh Ha, and producer, Jenni Trang Le.
