FIGURES IN TIME will feature a body of new work from emerging artist Will Whitehouse. An artist trained in the classical tradition, Will has become a master of technique in a variety of fine art material. In his first solo-show in South East Asia, Will is exhibiting a range of oil and acrylic canvases as well as a selection of his life drawings.

The human form plays a predominant role in Wills work, yet it is more than a study of anatomy and the play of light and dark on the flesh. Human expressions and gestures have the ability to send compelling messages. Themes of isolation, vulnerability and uncertainty are accentuated in Will’s work through colour relationships and brushstrokes. 
Wills figures are enigmatic; veiled in bold strokes and with layers of under drawing. His passionate painterly approach combined with his sometimes-unsettling subject matter has created an exciting body of work.
