This night is all about funk and groove making lots of bodies move. Observatory Regional Ally BOOGIE G will be bringing his heavy collection from across the funkosphere to set the floor alight with local groove-man Starchild for an evening of future funk-soaked dance floor movement.

BOOGIE G is the man responsible for keeping the funk-flame burning over in Bangkok, where he’s hosted names such as Onra, Egyptian Lover and Dam Funk in some of the metropolis’ only major groove-based nights - now known as ‘Nite Ride’. He has been a collector of vinyl and other audio rarities since his teens, and his sets always set off a series of sound shocks that shake dance floors to their core. From classic hip hop to rare grooves and futuristic, sample-based funk music, Boogie G knows how to turn up a party.

Joining him on this night is Starchild - Saigon’s groove specialist who’s never short of a stream of heavy tracks to keep things jumping and swinging.
