 If you’ve ever wanted to learn leather craft this is a great class to start! The course is continuing and designed as a build up from simple skills and techniques to more advanced, where each project focuses on the skills and techniques learned in the previous lessons. Tool use and techniques, marking and cutting, leather qualities and finishes, hardware and settings, stitching and lacing, designing and assembling will all be covered.

Make your own stitched leather keychain, woven bracelet, money holder or iPhone case, fold-over satchel and finally, a piece that you design. Demos, presentations, patterns, and one-on-one instruction is provided - this workshop includes all the leather, material, threads, hardware, and tool use - you don’t need to bring anything!

Thusdays from 6pm to 8pm starting on 3rd September.

About the teacher:

Adina is an artist, designer, and teacher currently living in Ho Chi Minh City. She works as a High School Visual Arts instructor at an international school by day and is a co-founder to her recently launched hand made leather collective, called Attaya, by night. She holds a BFA ‘10 in print/paper/book and graphic design from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in Minneapolis, MN USA.
