On 31 January, 2016, The Library Project will be hosting a literacy cocktail called “PLAY” to raise funds for their project, and for the first time in Vietnam, to gather supporters of the cause, partners and friends.

PLAY will focus on creativity, imagination and arts. Its initiative is about giving access to books to children in rural areas of Vietnam, as they are deprived of the materials that make us dream: the stories and images that light up our imagination.

In this event, The Library Project wants to remind guests of their childhood memories; full of inspiring images, stories and plays.

All the funds raised that night will go to support Literacy in Vietnam. The Library Project will donate books and libraries to under financed rural primary schools in Vietnam.

At The Library Project we believe education is the key motivator to break the cycle of poverty. As we see it, education is change.
