From the organizer: If you want the zenith of international comedy festivals, nothing can beat the annual comedic knees-up at The Edinburgh Fringe.

So when the much-loved Irish comic Aidan Killian told Saigon International Comedy that he would be able to perform his one-man show in Ho Chi Minh City on Thursday, July 28th, just a week before taking it to the Scottish capital, he was met with an immediate ‘yes’.

Titled The Money Shot, Aidan’s latest offering is a thought provoking, witty and inspiring show that explores the history of money and how it impacts society. Asking challenging questions like, “Would you die for what you believe in?” with answers like, “Yes. If I was ninety,” according to Chortle, the former investment banker turned comedian, now “consistently writes and performs the most committed, knottiest, issue-comedy shows on the Fringe”.

One of Ireland’s most travelled comedians ­— Aidan has sold out rooms in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Netherlands and the USA — this will be his third time in performing in Vietnam and his fifth year at the Edinburgh Fringe where he will be returning as part of ‘Heroes of the Fringe’. He’s not quite a hero of Vietnam yet — that’s an accolade that even the most hardened of souls may never achieve — but he’s certainly one of this country’s most loved regular performers.

So are you ready for an hour of unforgettable of laughter? Aidan certainly is.
