From the organizer: Dinh Y Nhi - Hoang Thi Phuong Lien- Vo Luong Nhi are friends from the childhood, who grew up together, went to the same art school, have educated with the same art masters of Vietnam
Years ago, they opened an exhibition for the first time together, marked their career of painting, in 1995 at Hang Bai, Hanoi
And now, after two decades they once again gather at Mai’s Gallery to memorize their path of life
They went through all the aspect and sense of Art of their generation. During 20 years, each of them organized many exhibitions in Vietnam also overseas.
Dinh Y Nhi had organized 11 solo exhibitions, 20 group exhibitions in Vietnam also in France, German, USA, Switzerland, and Singapore
For the upcoming exhibition, Y Nhi will show us 10 oil paintings of internal shades of the woman: Inferior Monologue, The Crowd, Lady Seating…Her paintings reveal dreams, thoughts, repressed feelings from the ordinary life.
Vo Luong Nhi, was born in Hanoi, had being a stamp artist of Vietnam Post Office. She is also member of Vietnam Art Association since 1995, member of Vietnam Art Author Association.
Luong Nhi organized more than 10 solo exhibitions in local also oversea : as Korea, Germany, Sweden and USA. She has got prizes of Vietnam Art. Her masterpieces has been kept in Art Museum of Vietnam
Throughout exhibition, she leaves us the beauty of autumn in Hanoi, with breezes, flower, lady in surrealistic view.
Hoang Thi Phuong Lien, who graduated from Industrial Art University, has more records as 14 solo also group exhibitions. Her artwork has been introduced in Malaysia, Singapore, Canada and received high compliments from audience.
As contribute to the Gallery she brings to the public an elegance sceneries collection on paper describing North- West daily activities of these ethnics, at the market, at the harvest…These artworks are very colorful, traditional mixing with modernity showing the feelings of the peace
Three Artists- Three different edges converge at Mai’s Gallery bringing us a new sense of artistry and different color of Vietnam nowadays.
Mai’s Gallery established in 2001 in Vietnam and 2003 in New York
We support artists and exhibit their arts, organize talk show for hundred of Vietnamese Artists and Foreigners
