From the organizer: This event introduces the works of Photographer Sergey Medvedchikov as an interactive session on Street and Documentary Photography.
Sergey has contributed to a number of magazines as a travel-photographer, shooting scenes in different parts of Russia and other countries. His photos were published in editions of Kommersant and «Burda» Publishing Houses, as well as «Russian reporter», «Foto-Travel», «GEO» magazines, etc.
He is defining himself as a visual anthropologist and works now his own documentary and local history projects especially about endangered languages and cultures.

- Exhibition
The exhibition will show 2 series, the Land of Vasyugan (in BW) and Baikalia (in color).
Vasyugan swamp is one of the largest wetlands in the world, with total area of over 53,000 square kilometers.
Baikalia is about the region of the Lake Baikal which is the largest freshwater lake by volume in the world, containing roughly 20% of the world's unfrozen surface fresh water

Sergey will speaks about his works mainly on Documentary Projects. He will tell about his approaches, methods of shooting and philosophy in photography.
- Interactive Portfolio Lecture
For an interactive session, he will comment some selected portfolio of Vietnamese photographers.

If you are interested to submit your own portfolio to be commented, please send us a message before 28th February. We will review it and tell if it is selected for the lecture.
