From the organizer: Join us on Sunday April 23rd for a discussion of the history of LGBT rights with Canadian rights advocate, Kim Vance.
Kim is Executive Director of ARC International and is travelling as a guest of the Canadian Consulate General, Ho Chi Minh City.
Kim founded ARC in 2003 after serving for a number of years as President of Canada’s national LGBT organization, Egale Canada.

Kim will discuss the history of LGBT progress, in North America and internationally. She'll also provide some thoughts on the development of LGBT rights in Vietnam and share some of her personal history.
Kim's visit to Vietnam is part of Canada's 150th anniversary celebration.
