The "Cinderella" ballet with the music of Sergei Prokofiev is so well known that there are over 1500 different versions of choreography for this masterpiece.
In 2013, the famous Norwegian choreographer Johanne Jakhelln Constant, renowned international artist with nearly 10 years experiences as artistic director of the Quad Cities Ballet (United States), who made a resounding success cooperated with HBSO on the ballet "Nutcracker", staged a completely new version of "Cinderella" for HBSO. This immediately became one of the favorite ballets in the recent years in HCMC.
The ballet "Cinderella" with the shimmering, dreamlike, thrilling and exciting, but also extremely fun will be on stage again on April 28 and 29, 2017 at the Opera House. This time with the participation of famous Japanese ballet artist Nobuo Fujino as the Prince, as well as outstanding artists of HBSO: Chloe Glemot, Tran Hoang Yen, Nguyen Thu Trang, Sung A Lung, Pham The Chung, Do Hoang Khang Ninh, Tran Thi Hong Van...
