After just 24 hours in Vietnam, the internet is jam-packed with thousands of photos and videos documenting American president Barack Obama's trip so far. Though there are plenty of gems from which to choose, our favorite image from the last day is that of President Obama sharing a bowl of bún chả with Vietnamese food-obsessed celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain.
Images of the candid dinner at the capital's Bun Cha Huong Lien show the duo sipping beers atop Vietnam’s ubiquitous blue plastic stools, separated by an inox table.
On his Twitter account Bourdain wrote that he picked up the check for the US$6 meal:
Total cost of bun Cha dinner with the President: $6.00 . I picked up the check . #Hanoi

According to Vox, the dinner was filmed for an episode of Bourdain’s CNN series Parts Unknown that will air in September. In the episode, "Bourdain will explore the purpose of the president's trip and his interest in the people, food and culture of Vietnam," a CNN spokesperson told Politico.
