[Video] Bánh Mì: A Sandwich for All Seasons

Vietnam’s coveted bánh mì is a sandwich so delicious it will move you to tears.

At least, that’s what the folks at Saigon-based FGS Productions depict in their latest viral video. Last month, the production house released a particularly enthusiastic homage to bánh mì in which a mysterious gentleman in shades and a jean jacket introduces Saigoneers from all walks of life to the delicious taste and convenience of bánh mì.

What begins as a relatively normal clip soon takes a left turn into odd territory, ending in an intense montage of people stuffing Vietnam’s signature sandwich into their faces to the tune of a dramatic soundtrack.
