From the Organizer
For the 4th installment of Loud Minority, the Saigon based club night will host acclaimed Canadian rock-duo, Japandroids at Cargo Bar.
Having taken 2012 by storm, their sophomore release, Celebration Rock, was lauded as one of the albums of the year across the international music press, making no. 9 on Rolling Stone’s top 50.
This will be their first show on Vietnamese soil, and it promises to be one of the greatest rock shows Vietnam has seen.
To support on the night, Loud Minority has drafted in UK/Thai conglomerate, The Standards. A worthy headliner in their own right, The Standards have previously supported The Charlatans and Blood Red Shoes. They return to Vietnam after tearing up CAMA festival in Hanoi in 2011.
Saigon’s own rising stars, White Noiz, will also perform on the night, returning to Loud Minority after they wowed an unsuspecting crowd at Loud Minority’s debut show with Frank Turner back in March.
If that wasn’t enough, local ex-pat rock n rollers, Joy Oi! Will be kicking things off while Saigon’s pioneer of everything indie/electro, DJ Superkid (Everyone’s A DJ), will keep the party going into the early hours.
Tickets now on sale priced 300k (Adv), 150k (with student ID) 350k (door).
